Summer Reading Part Two: Freakonomics

Despite being a non-fiction book, Freakonomics is not the kind of book that would bore a reader with endless facts and no sense of voice. But no, in fact, it was the exact opposite. It takes the style of a novel and cleverly mixes facts with narration. The book discusses the connections between seemingly random things, such as "How cheating applies to both Teachers and Sumo Wrestlers" in an engaging way. When I first read the book, i was like "just another rant about how to make the world a better place". It turned out to be much more than just that, a fun to read book that is moderately challenging and very engaging. I'd say that people who would want to change their perspective on non-fiction books should read this. A 9/10.
